It's starting, food is being labelled with your daily carbon allowance information, just a few weeks after Digital ID was announced. Because everything will be linked to your Digital ID, including your carbon allowance. What happens at your allowance limit for the day/week/month?
Common sense tip - Make your own sandwiches at home. 😁😝😵
Toodle pip. ilona
Yes I agree Ilona make your own food at home as much as possible.i went past a place today it said on the window take out sandwich and coffee 6.99 that's seven pounds for two bits of bread a small filling and a slurp of a drink Sounds pricey to me.I rather make my own at least I know what's in itx
ReplyDeleteI would never buy those pre packed sandwiches made on a factory production line, put in a truck and transported a hundred miles. YUK. I have just been out for the afternoon and taken my own cheese and pickle sandwiches on seeded bread. I'm not paying those silly prices and risking food poisoning.
DeleteDaily carbon allowance, outrageous. I don't buy prepackaged sandwiches either. There will definitely be a punishment via Digital ID in near future if you exceed your "allowance" in behavior. Let's push back!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely push back, Terra. Don't want it, don't need it.
DeleteI imagine your phone will ping if you exceed your daily carbon allowance and I think it will apply to car use too. These prepackaged sandwiches are really unhealthy - look at the fat and salt content. It's far better and cheaper to make your own.
ReplyDeleteThe whole idea about carbon credits is just ridiculous.
DeleteI always take my own food as that way I know what is in it, even more so since the canteen at my place of work has gone cashless and to purchase anything is through an app only. I also hope this digital ID farce fails. Elaine B
ReplyDeleteCommon sense rules, Elaine. Stick with cash.
DeleteOh lord that is just so funny.
ReplyDeleteKaty
Good grief. Yes homemade would be much better, you know what is in it.
