Oh no, more chuffin litter picking. Oh yes. I filled three bags today, from three locations on the Industrial Estate. It's nice and quiet there on a Sunday. Found another grot spot. Still plenty to go at. I left them at the same place as before, next to the litter bin. They should be collected tomorrow, or Tuesday. Someone else left the small red bag.

I like your litter project. Did you ever see evidence on an envelope of who dumped the litter? This week I saw on X.com that a UK farmer is fined 40,000 pounds for litter dumped on his farm by strangers. I hope that fine is dropped!
ReplyDeleteIf it is the story I heard, the farmer wasn't fined, but because it was on his land he had to pay for it to be removed. £50,000 was going to be the cost . Someone started up a "Go fund me" to help him , but not sure how much was raised.
