Good evening.
I've spent most of the day in the garden today. Such a lot of work to be done. Got the lawnmower out for the first time this year. Surprised to find that it actually works. It was the cheapest one I could find at B & Q a lot of years ago. I don't bother with maintenance, just put it away after the last mowing in the Autumn. Switch it on in the Spring and it's good to go.
Here I am having a little moan about an email I received from British Gas.
Two dog walks today. The first one was cut short this morning. Carol was getting ready to go out so we only had fifteen minutes. I went back this evening after I put all the garden tools away, to give Billy another walk to make up for the short one this morning.
Now I am tired so I will be off to bed shortly.
Thanks for popping in. Catch ya tomorrow. Toodle pip. ilona

You are very lucky to have this system. I read my meters for gas, water and electricity once a year and submit the results on paper, per telephone or online. Then I get the invoices on paper. And I have to pay in advance the same amount of money for the next twelve months per direct debit. So, when I manage to use less gas, water and electricity, I still have to pay too much for the rest of the year until the next meter reading, when the sum will eventually be lower. Which never happened. Because even when I use less, the prices will have gone up during the year.
