The soup looks very yummy and made with bargain priced vegetables.Inexpensive and simple food doesn't have to be starchy and lacking nutrtion, your cooking shows that, and it's helpful to those that don't have that learning and experience.Thank you, regards, D.Destemonanoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3556657999892839298.post-45964657380533619242015-02-13T04:00:47.584+00:002015-02-13T04:00:47.584+00:00The soup sounds delicious and healthy. Had 3 servings already and the rest will be defrosted for next week - think I might make some wholewheat soda bread to go along with it - lovely for lunch.<br />Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3556657999892839298.post-68567236766386821862015-02-12T21:01:20.707+00:002015-02-12T21:01:20.707+00:00Ooh, I love butternut squash. And I've been eating sweet potatoes a lot more often since I read on Frugal Queen's blog that they can be microwaved whole in a few minutes - SO much easier than trying to peel those knobbly twisty things! The peel comes off in big pieces after microwaving. In fact, I think I'll make one right now - thanks for the idea :)Quinnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17292701509476856967noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3556657999892839298.post-21997883867306603812015-02-12T20:03:16.639+00:002015-02-12T20:03:16.639+00:00Ilona, your tastes are a bit different from mine o...Ilona, your tastes are a bit different from mine on the food, but the book really sounds heart stopping! Total cost of my lunch each day is pennies and it's filling, nutritious and more importantly warming. Home made soup freezes really well.SusanMhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09622557936441532144noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3556657999892839298.post-7347560653186600612015-02-12T18:55:16.050+00:002015-02-12T18:55:16.050+00:00Delicious dish and cheap, greetings from WarsawDelicious dish and cheap, greetings from WarsawPrzygody z drutamihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11699364083974743989noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3556657999892839298.post-5395291008644800362015-02-12T18:46:55.238+00:002015-02-12T18:46:55.238+00:00I found the juxtaposition between a book about tr...I found the juxtaposition between a book about trafficking and those diced vegetables interesting. Are you sure that's butternut squash and sweet potato or are they some illegal substance that someone's sneaked into Tesco? xlovelygreyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03864666054403517265noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3556657999892839298.post-70438977657190273692015-02-12T18:04:51.521+00:002015-02-12T18:04:51.521+00:00Butternut squash and sweet potato...YUMMY!
