The longer you feed him...the longer he'll stay. Leave some food for him in his mansion..if he doesn't notice it then place some small mealworms or small worms on the top of the food...the wriggly movement will catch his eye and he will be tempted. If you leave some chopped fruit such as rasberry/strawberry/blueberry in his food you will know if he is capable of self feeding because his poop will be purple!! He's going to need some flight time soon to build up his flight muscles...so a bigger, taller mansion soon will be just the ticket.<br />Jane xJane and Chrishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08102086552682194819noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3556657999892839298.post-29386161343979432592012-08-11T19:21:22.948+01:002012-08-11T19:21:22.948+01:00Love it! so cute xLove it! so cute xAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3556657999892839298.post-43021464777763946792012-08-11T18:50:12.420+01:002012-08-11T18:50:12.420+01:00Ah bless you Ilona. Wait until it can fly again, but don't let it trick you into thinking it's going to starve! Once it is healed, it will be able to fly just fine and parent birds tend to slowly decrease the amount of food they give them to make baby birdie find his own!Bryallenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03077654752721624785noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3556657999892839298.post-91863166344909885122012-08-11T15:00:49.389+01:002012-08-11T15:00:49.389+01:00Ditto what Kelley said.Ditto what Kelley said.john bainhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15624118202659480062noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3556657999892839298.post-58664869498396709582012-08-11T14:53:13.023+01:002012-08-11T14:53:13.023+01:00that is the best make do bird cage ever...the cats...that is the best make do bird cage ever...the cats are cracking me up with their clever conversation...kelleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02779214730910867764noreply@blogger.com
