This also included duck treats, and some fruit and vegetable treats. I didn't find anything on beef treats only rawhide chews.

A lot of folks just buy boneless-skinless chicken breast, partially freeze it and then slice very thin. They then dehydrate until very dry. I haven't seen anyone say how they store their homemade jerky treats but if it were me I would put them in the fridge.Judyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06530748998376076224noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3556657999892839298.post-55366651769427583382016-03-16T18:36:02.601+00:002016-03-16T18:36:02.601+00:00Love Rocky checking the food delivery out :) bles...Love Rocky checking the food delivery out :) bless him x.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3556657999892839298.post-5419460641379497882016-03-16T16:26:28.005+00:002016-03-16T16:26:28.005+00:00Just a thought about the pet food. I never buy the package stuff apart from some kibble but I do chop up chicken drumsticks with the kitchen scissors to include bone in my dogs food. He used to suffer badly with his anal glands and was costing me a fortune at the vets. Now that I do this, because of the roughage and hard stools, he hasn't been back. I don't cook them as that makes the bones brittle and nor do I include splinters. I decided to give him some sardines too for his coat and had a great buy in big Tesco when I found a big bag of fresh sprats for 30p. Cleaned them and froze them on a tray. It works out at about 3p per day for this good protein and oils.Mrsmiserlyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08075870936287787727noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3556657999892839298.post-88109667718265846292016-03-16T16:19:08.327+00:002016-03-16T16:19:08.327+00:00have you ever tried making your own quiche ? its r...have you ever tried making your own quiche ? its really easy i make it with no pastry as im not a fan in a throw away foil dish
tessaAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3556657999892839298.post-51791335699890724752016-03-16T10:00:18.122+00:002016-03-16T10:00:18.122+00:00You sound like us with the pet food, I haven't...You sound like us with the pet food, I haven't ever worked it out but I'm sure we must spend as much if not more on the pets than we do on ourselves, and every penny is worth it.
Loving the pics of little Rocky, so pleased he got a good home in the end.
Briony
xcrafty cat cornerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06251582085392890533noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3556657999892839298.post-42597703479046400422016-03-16T09:09:58.612+00:002016-03-16T09:09:58.612+00:00Cherie, I find the hardest part is to go through m...Cherie, I find the hardest part is to go through my crafting supplies and chuck stuff out. I am only counting in the times when I leave home specifically to go for a walk. People who walk in their job can count that in if they like, because if you have done a ten hour day on your feet you won't have the time or inclination to get up and do more. People can decide for themselves how they work it out. I don't go that way very often as the road goes past the steelworks and often gets clogged up with traffic. I will keep that in mind though and call in when I go that way. Thanks.Meanqueenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02705837426373680532noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3556657999892839298.post-58263996648091843282016-03-16T06:03:30.928+00:002016-03-16T06:03:30.928+00:00Do you have a pets at home near you? Not a bad price for the U.S. I usually manage to get ham skins for 99 cents a pound (great for seasoning beans and in quiche. That's where the smoky flavor is.) Picked up some summer sausage for 50 cents tonight. That will make some nice cheese, sausage and cracker snacks. Finally we're getting a grocery salvage store in the area again. We haven't had one since 2005 and Hurricane Katrina. Can't wait.

Love your posts and well-seasoned life.

QueenVictorianoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3556657999892839298.post-22128534978738857562016-03-16T02:39:39.898+00:002016-03-16T02:39:39.898+00:00I love how much you love your little family. It makes me smile every time I read about them.

We have adored all our pets and they have lived long lives so far...well except the love bird who tried to get a drink in the toilet and drowned. I had gone to the store and one of the kids let it out to fly around, got distracted and lost track of the bird. A very sad day and a hard lesson to learn.
Current baby is a 13yr old Skye terrier my son found out running in the street when he was a puppy. We looked and advertised for an owner but no one came forward. He was a holy terror when we brought him home (i.e. Chewed several holes in our walls...don't ask me how) but has turned out to be such a little love.

I love rescued animals!Milahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06559802456879880027noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3556657999892839298.post-57206303705352349172016-03-15T23:26:32.262+00:002016-03-15T23:26:32.262+00:00You got a great price on blue cheese.
