  1. Wonderful,.. I used to work at GEC large generators in Stafford,… I loved watching the big loads leave after months in the factory under construction,.. always so proud of our work,.. especially being one of only a handful of woman engineers. Thanks for the memories,. From Norma in Stafford.

    1. You are right to be proud of yourself. That must have been tough with all those male egos to contend with. I remember going into Stafford, to pick up a much smaller load. I was only plated to 75 tonnes on special types.

    1. The routes that the big loads take can be up to a year in the planning stage. People always ask why don't they move them at night. Erm, no, it's dark.

  5. Wow! What precision. That was really worth the watch; wish I'd been there to see it.
Belated Merry Christmas and wishing you and your furry family happiness in the coming year.

  6. Wow! What incredible precision driving. It must take years to be able to drive like that. We used to have a lorry driver over the road from us who could turn his huge lorry in the street without thinking, but other drivers couldn't do a normal 3 point turn! Massive respect for these drivers and the accompanying teams.
