It means that I get to use my brain, and work out my own plan for my life. No longer do i need to check in with others. No longer do I need to ask permission to make the changes I need to survive.

Dear Anon, you clearly don’t read much of Ilona’s blog do you? She clearly is not miserable. I disagree with nearly all of what she says in the political front but she is obviously quite contented with her life.

Let's see how Mr Burnham performs in the next six months. Will he be able to shake off the influence of his maters, or is he another puppet. It doesn't matter who is voted in, the rot is much higher up, and will filter down eventually.

Agree with you Ilona. People have GOT to wake up and realize that none of these 'leaders' are acting alone. They dare not rock the boat and affect the flow of money out of the taxpayer coffers and into the pockets of corrupt politicians and Top Dogs. It is the same here in America. We are at the behest of criminal enterprises on BOTH sides of the Atlantic. Grab Western civilization with both hands and give it a big kiss goodbye. Also, just live your life, people! There is really nothing that can be done about the greed and corruption at the top, so do the best you can with what you have. I only buy what I need. I refuse to support this global exploitative economy. Life has certainly changed over the last 6 years and not for the better for many people. Everything is way too expensive: rents, mortgages, food, utilities and so on. I do some of my grocery shopping in bulk and the same food items that used to cost $250 now cost well over $400.
