Have a great day.Rebecca Bhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14787161910148000266noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3556657999892839298.post-46251768946908436472022-05-03T13:37:12.927+01:002022-05-03T13:37:12.927+01:00I never learnt to swim either, I've always bee...I never learnt to swim either, I've always been quite scared of the water so I refused point blank to do it. The sea is beautiful but I'm happy just to paddle in it!Elizahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18150271654224056285noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3556657999892839298.post-289045727237783342022-05-03T10:56:30.981+01:002022-05-03T10:56:30.981+01:00I agree, it was an ordeal. We had a really mean swim instructor who made us hold onto a long pole and jump into about 5ft of water. Never having been in water that deep I was really scared but she showed no mercy in making us all conform to her request. Eventually I received a certificate for swimming 25 yards -- the length of the pool. I remember the strong smell of chlorine and the cold water but the salty cup of soup which I bought for about 2 pence was a welcome finale to the ordeal.Monahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12649917302132336304noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3556657999892839298.post-20609966219276462812022-05-02T22:31:16.826+01:002022-05-02T22:31:16.826+01:00I also hated swimming lessons. There was one girl who used to nip me when we were in the water, but the teachers thought we were friends. I was very quiet and never said anything, just put up with it. I wouldn't now!Corinnehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12310800490190639363noreply@blogger.com
