Hello. Yes, I am back home, and I walked the whole distance, all 136 miles from Newcastle to the Humber Bridge. It's lovely to be back, the pussies are happy, and now I'm off to bed. I'll be back tomorrow with the last installment.
See you soon.

ReplyDeleteWell done, Illona, you just don't have the 'give up' button in you, really admire your energy and attitude. How are your poor feet? Hope you gave them a lovely, long soak when you got home and anointed them with soothing cream in gratitude for all their hard work! Have a great night's rest and look forward to hearing all about your last, final push to the end of a gruelling journey. Terry

Congrats....you must be relieved to be done with it and home again. Now a nice soak in the bath. Pamper those feet, they carried you far.
ReplyDeleteVery well done Ilona, thank you for taking us all along, we've enjoyed every minute of your journey. You have made me brave and this August myself (72 years) and my best friend (recovering from cancer) are taking a camping holiday to the Kimberley region of Western Australia. We worked in the North West for over 20 and 30 years (respectively), but never made it to the Kimberley. This year, we will. They've had a massive fire up there last summer and now massive downpours of rain, so it should be beautifully regenerated, looking forward to it.
ReplyDeleteWell done. I am mightily impressed at this feat of your feet:-). Rest well now and enjoy the pussy cats
