Hello. I think I have done enough on this now. I don't think more stitching will make it any better. It was supposed to be a woodland but I stopped at one tree. I wasn't going to put glass in it because the texture shows up more without it. I took the photo's without, then put the glass in, and decided it looked better so left it in. It's 15.5 inches square including the frame.
Thanks for popping in, we'll catch up soon.

Looks beautiful, Ilona. Like a lot of work has gone into it and I love the colours and the texture. If it hadn't got glass over it, I'd want to touch it each time I walked past! Look forward to seeing the next project. Louise (from your old town) : )
ReplyDeleteThat is fantastic Ilona. You need the glass it will protect your work from dirt and dust and moisture in the air etc. xxx

ReplyDeleteBeautiful, your creations are very much like impressionist paintings in thread. Loads of talent!
ReplyDeleteVery beautiful. I love the spring colors and the wonderful textures. It's obvious that you put many hours of work into it. The little roses along the edge of the frame set it off very nicely.
ReplyDeleteThis is just beautiful. I love the tree bark and the drifts of flowers. I hope you get a chance to display it when there is another local show.
ReplyDeleteVery nice. I like how the stitching provides direction and moves the eyes.
ReplyDeleteThe detail you've created is simply beautiful ... I love the flowers, simply amazing.
