Hello. I've been a bit lazy today, reading, sewing, and pottering. Here's a little video I made the other day.
It's 8.25pm, the sun is still shining, and I'm now going to do my walk. My total to date is 674 miles. Thanks for popping in, we'll catch up soon.

I totally agree - but I fear you are preaching to the converted amongst your followers! Fabulous scenery there btw.
ReplyDeleteI couldn't agree with you more Ilona, referring to the health benefits of walking.I can be a worrier, but I insist with myself that even if I do little else that day I will go out for a walk.Like magic,my worries don't seem so bad after all.I then return home refreshed and more motivated. Thanks for the video x
ReplyDeleteThat is stunnng scenery. I am sure you would love where I live. Beautiful countryside barely a stones throw away
ReplyDeleteVery true! Beautiful countryside. Thank you for sharing x
ReplyDeleteGreat video!,Love all your blogs,In fact,i look for them every time i get chance to get on the laptop!,This reminds me,a bit of Dovedale, where i used to go alot as a child and have been in recent years. It is so relaxing to watch and i miss these sort of walks,Debi,Leic,x
ReplyDeleteMy mum loved to go to Dovedale in Derbyshire when I was young too Debi.Dad would take us and mum liked a cream tea-we sat by a old stone bridge, which I painted at school-happy memories x
DeleteYou are 100 miles ahead of me Ilona. I love this video. You are so right about the health benefits of walking. For the body and the mind.
ReplyDeleteJacquie x
Nice video. Enjoy your walk and the weekend.
ReplyDeleteYou lazy? Not in this life time. :) Giving your body/bones/mind a day to re-coop is good for you. I give mine too many of those days to tell the truth. ha. Here we've had thunder, rain, sunshine and a repeat all day. It has really been a wet July.
ReplyDeleteTotally agree too. You have the countryside to lift your spirits as you said and a walk to make you feel better it's the best form of therapy!
ReplyDeletelovely to watch your video clip with my morning coffee! the 'curious sheep' is a star!
ReplyDeleteWise words.
ReplyDeleteLovely video and good advice but I don't think you should advise people 'not' to go to the Doctor if they're feeling 'yuck' - it could be something physical which needs medical advice. A walk in the country doesn't cure everything, unfortunately.
ReplyDelete'Yuck' can mean lots of different things. I could have said, shit, crap, pissed off, bored out of their brain, etc etc. People can make up their own mind if they need to go to the doctor or not.
DeleteI can feel quite unwell and if after a walk to clear my head,I still feel unwell I would then get medical advice-sometimes a walk in the countryside or park can be the remedy for me x
