That didn't take long.

With such crappy weather outside, I think a cats instincts are to find somewhere warm, comfortable and dry to snuggle up and snooze. And so he has chosen, the best chair.
The wind is howling outside, but we are all just fine.  ilona

  4. Excellent news! How typical for them to select the best seats for themselves; I have 2 sofas and 1 armchair.. and guess who has 1/2 of the most comfy sofa for themselves?.. not me!

  6. And you thought he was an outdoor cat! He's soon made himself at home. What was he called by his previous owners?

  8. If your weather there has been as awful as here then I'm not surprised he's moved in! I haven't heard Polly go out of the cat flap at all - but she probably was out and back before I noticed. Wet and windy all day - just what cats hate

  11. He knows you are kind and wise, and you'll give him shelter and food - he has chosen you as his servant :-)
That's basically how we got our third cat, Pretty Boy just chose to move with us. He's from neighbourough village, and his previous owners told us he's outdoor cat, he doesn't like to be indoors, he hates litter box, he doesn't like to eat commercial cat food and so on. Well. So far he has eaten himsef to a balloon, pees only in litter boxes (we have more than one) and goes outside only if someone carries him out, and then he runs back right between your legs before you manage to close the door... We didn't want more animals, but he didn't ask. And no, he wasn't mistreated or neglected before.

    1. He had a good home before, but the dynamics changed. They moved house, got another cat, had a baby, and it all went a bit tits up for him so he decided to explore the bigger picture. I have no idea how he landed in my garden.

    2. That the thing with cats. They dont like change!.I used to consider moving years ago but I would never do so now because I would be worried that they wouldnt adapt to the change. They have the hump with me if they see my backpack and thats only if Im going shopping!.A girl in the next close to me moved house and the day before she left the cat went missing. She came back to the street every day for about 2 months calling his name and neighbours were calling him too,but sadly he was never seen again.I hope that he got another loving home just like Oscar has!xx
