Hello. A showery sort of day, I managed to get a dog walk in without getting wet.
I made a video this morning but deleted it because I was off camera for a lot of the time. Will re position the camera, and myself tomorrow and have another go. Oh the joys of being a film producer, ha ha.
Well that was a bombshell last night wasn't it. We were warned though so I don't suppose it was a complete surprise. A lockdown once more, the third one, wonder if it will work this time. How many more times are they going to change the rules. I feel sorry for all the owners of the businesses that are going to collapse. The employees who are going to lose their jobs. The kids that can't go to school. The families who are going to sink deeper and deeper into debt, a pit they are never going to get out of. The repercussions will last for years.
And another bombshell this morning. Talk Radio, a national radio station was removed from yoooootoooob. Apparently someone complained about the type of guests they are inviting on to talk about the ongoing situation. Guests that are often at odds with the narrative which comes out of main stream media. Doctors, lawyers, and epidemiologists, that are not part of Sage. Get used to free speech being gagged. Those who are in control of the www can pull the plug on anything they like. Even us.
Short post. Typing one handed. Oscar resting on my arm. Toodle pip. ilona
EDIT. Good news, Talk Radio has been re instated.
We are all watching what is happening in the UK with shock and horror. There is a sad realization that we are well on that road ourselves. We won't fair as well as you do. We hope that it will be brief for you.
ReplyDeleteHello Lisa. This is not going to be brief. Our travel restrictions will be in place for as long as they see fit.
DeleteI love Talk radio and was furious they took it down! However youtube has now reinstated it from 6 30 tomorrow morning. I particularly enjoy Neal Oliver's contribution on Wednesdays, he has a real understanding of human nature.
ReplyDeleteYes, Kate, I was shocked to see it had disappeared. I usually listen and watch in the morning, so have got used to the presenters that fill those times. I like Julia, and Mark Dolan. I struggle to understand Neil Oliver's accent so have to put the sub titles on. If I miss some of it I pick up the shorter pieces that come on later.
DeleteWhile it was off I found it live on Twitter, and I believe it was on Facebook too. It's back now, so we can breath again.
I thought of you when I heard England was going into lockdown again. I hope you still manage to get out and about on your walks. Here in Wales we were expecting to go into lockdown on the 28th December but suddenly, five days before Christmas we were told that everything was to close that night. Businesses were taken completely by surprise and many families were distraught because they were waiting for their wages so they could buy presents for their children - and now they were being told they could only buy 'essentials'. Luckily charities, some businesses and individuals rallied around to help donate and deliver toys and gifts so that children wouldn't go without. Mark Drakeford, Wales's leader, is due to review the situation at the end of the week, but I think we're all pretty resigned to the fact that the lockdown will stay in place. The fear machine rumbles on with no sign of stopping. I will continue to go out whenever I want to. I refuse to lock myself away. Not one single person has died of Covid in my area since this whole thing began - I did a postcode check last night. I checked the surrounding areas, too, five towns in total and the combined deaths since May were eight. We are very much a holiday destination and our streets were packed with visitors during Summer. I do feel sorry for those eight people and their families but that hardly justifies the destruction of our economy and the physical, mental and financial hardships that people are going through. I hate the way this is dividing people. 😞
ReplyDeleteHi Liz. Yes, I still go out for my walks, that will not stop. I will continue to do my shopping in two places, Aldi and Home Bargains, once every two or three weeks, at night when there is hardly anyone else there. The death toll of people who die from non Covid problems will rise. I keep seeing reports of people committing suicide. This makes me very sad, and angry at the same time. Deaths that could be avoided are being ignored.
Deleteyes saw that and the way the reporter was talking sounded so bleak, great way of putting it pulling the plug...thy also are turning it up by starting to suggest no boarding a plane without a negative result because theres this extra bad strain...one man who HAD and it and recovered made a comment he does not know if he is sick or not he cant tell lol i thought if you dont know then more than likely your not sick lol it messing with the mind...sorry if my name is not on this at the moment i cant see an option for it bit odd Louise
ReplyDeleteThank you, Louise. Your name at the bottom is fine. Fear will be ramped up throughout the year.
DeleteHi Ilona, tried to do a bit of a contribution to the small businesses at Christmas this time, buying Christmas gifts from sites such as Etsy and eBay instead of the large companies, cost was more with postage etc. to send but gratifying to know that thought has gone into your gifts being more kind of personal and knowing your cash is helping to keep the balance of the economy, be it small businesses and the delivery companies
ReplyDeleteMargaret xx
Good for you, Margaret. While small businesses are closing Amazon is growing bigger and richer.
DeleteEvening all we went in to level 5 lockdown here in Ireland on Christmas eve. And now this evening further restrictions, Schools closed till the end of the month and more bussiness closed or call out emergancey only for plumbers elecricians etc. And more .We are like prisoners now and it will be reviewed the end of the month so on it goes and its our 3rd one too. How many more will will it all end?
ReplyDeleteThe word prisoners is the word which describes exactly where we're at. I don't think it will end in a long time. People will continue to soak up the numbers as they are rolled out by the Government. They have stopped publishing the exact figures, to make it more difficult to get to the truth. They say the end of March is when we will be allowed a bit more freedom. There will be a lot more mental health issues to sort out by then, and probably more suicides to contend with.
DeleteHi Ilona, I've had to take myself off Social Media, as so angry at the eternally offended trying to erase our history and gag free speech in this country. Been off it a day and already feeling much better! Just started to read a book by Nick Redfern called The New World Order Book - a lot of the events predicted are happening right now.
ReplyDeleteAnyway have started the New Year by adopting a little old black cat that I've named SusieQ. She is an absolute delight and the fastest eater I've ever seen!
Actually just wanted to come on here and wish the very Happiest of New Years xxx
Hello Crystal, nice to hear from you. I know what you mean, it is all getting a bit too much. I do despair when new interviews come out, confirming what I have always believed in, then the MSM say completely the opposite. Very frustrating, when I read on other blogs how they are all going along with it. How can people be so gullible. Sometimes I think I will not mention anything more about it, I have tried my best, let them get on with it. I give up.
DeleteI've just watched another video, an interview of a Canadian Doctor on their News Channel. Doctor Stephen Malthouse explains exactly what is going on. The fear is based on the PCR test, which is not fit for purpose, but they keep pushing it. He himself said he will not take the vaccine.
Enjoy your cat, they are such a comfort. It's good of you to give SusieQ a new home. Best wishes.
