Coffee chat video number errrrr, whatever.

Here's another one. You've seen the pictures of the new Floral Arrangement, now here is the video. Also what did I buy last night when I went to Home Bargains at 7.30pm. It was a rainy day yesterday, so this gives me an indication that the shops won't be busy. People don't want to go out in bad weather, a good time for me to go because I am unlikely to meet anyone. And so it was, no one in Home Bargains. I was the last one out when they shut the doors at 8pm.
It's been a dry but windy day today so I went for my usual five mile walk. The field tracks were even more boggy than usual because of all the rain yesterday and overnight. I took a few photo's I will post them tomorrow.
Thank you to those who have emailed me with their thoughts on the previous post. I will reply shortly.
Thanks for popping in. We'll catch up soon. Toodle pip.  ilona

    1. Home Bargains has almost everything you need. The fresh food fridges are a bit basic, a small selection but looks like good quality. Fruit and veg looks fresh. A good drinks aisle, plenty of choice.

  2. Yes! I am actually drinking a coffee as I watch your video. You had a lovely shopping trip, so glad you are doing well! Speaking of..I have been trying to buy everything in triplicate, since the pandemic hit, to cut down on the number of shopping trip. I buy three loaves of bread, keep one out on the counter, throw two in the freezer, then pull one out of the freezer every week etc.

    1. No, it was a charity shop special, £1. It's a Damart, they make all kinds of snuggly warm clothes.

  4. I have been aware that you had put a video on here since yesterday, but I have been saving it,for something to look forward to! I love the title, lol.I had to nip into Home Bargains on Wednesday to get my cats biscuits because they were down to their last pack.I stocked up on them because where as I can have a slice of toast, they need their biscuits!.They are still loving the Aldi meat so I am well stocked up on that...you have to be when you have 5 cats!.I bought some Bovril drink at Home Bargains as well.It is only 5 mins away from where I live. But like you I am shopping very rarely because I dont want to mix with people...I up cycled my slippers the other day!.One of my very old sheep skin mittens had developed a huge hole..so I cut it open and cut 2 sole shapes. Then stuck them into my very flat slippers.Using the dregs of my Grandsons hair glue that he had thrown out about 3 years ago...I knew it would come in useful for something, lol.I feel like Im walking on air now! Hope you have a great weekend,xx.

    1. The more you can make and repair at home the fewer shop visits are needed. Good idea with the slippers.
