Lovely day today, back from my walk. I will post the pics tomorrow.
A fun video, exercising in the kitchen while making porridge. Don't stand still waiting for the microwave to do it's stuff, why not do a few exercises and keep moving. Do two jobs at the same time.
Thanks for watching. Toodle pip. ilona
This was great fun to watch Ilona! I often dance in my kitchen while cooking! I left a comment over YouToob!!! :)
ReplyDeleteporridge looks lovely, I love it too. I'm younger than you but could not do all that exercise as I have arthritis in my knees. Surprising how long 1 minute is when you're doing something like that. Good of you.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely brilliant Ilona! It reminded me of the famous Morecombe and Wise breakfast clip! It really cheered up my dayπππ
ReplyDeleteI think your wonderful x
ReplyDeleteHey Ilona you've started something jigging about whilst cooking lol you have many talents I'm sure you could start your own airobics class online with a musical routine and we could tune into you each day lol at least you smile and get on with life each dayx
ReplyDeleteI morph into one of Pans People even just to boil the kettle, lol.Depending on what music I am playing, some days I am Margo Fonteyn and other days Angie Best.I just try to avoid the mirror while I am doing these activities. If the kitchen floor is a bit greasy,Ive tried doing Jane Torvill, but that one isnt as good as it can be a bit dangerous, lol.Great video!xx
ReplyDeleteWhen I empty the dishwasher I squat down to put dishes in the cupboard. In the bath I do ten leg raises each side. While I wait for the sink to fill I stand on one leg and then swap.
ReplyDeleteIt keeps all the muscle groups strong and makes you 'fit for life'.
It is a long time since I last danced in the kitchen, but I am going to give it a go again :)
ReplyDeleteI've never thought of dancing around while microwaving the porridge. I think I'd have to have some music on. I use dried fruits in my porridge as well as ground up seeds, like sesame seeds, linseed, almond meal and hazelnut meal, plus finely chopped dried apricots and dates. I mix it all with water and let it soak overnight, then just add a splash of milk in the morning and microwave for 90 seconds.
ReplyDeleteLoved thisπ
ReplyDeleteLol, Ilona, you have made me smile, you look so cuteπ you really are fantastic! π»π
ReplyDeleteI loved your dancing. When I was at my GSs front door the other day talking and I was saying I could touch my fingers I to my toes (not bad for a 82 year old) and he was surprised. I can not dance around the rooms now for I get giddy but I still like to sing to the wireless or records.
ReplyDeleteHazel c uk πππ
