Good morning. We all know what day it is don't we. The first day of the month and the last month of the year. Checking in every month seems to make time go faster. 30 days are gone in a flash. Time is precious, time is valuable. Every moment of every hour is a gift. Once it's gone it cannot be brought back. So, make some memories now.
Howz your walking been going? Have you done much, have you done any, or are you on the home stretch heading for a glorious end to the challenge. Will you cross the finishing line on the 31st of December with your held head high.
I am now on 939 miles, so I'm chuffed with that. Plain sailing from now on to the finish. Lets hear it from you. Please check in and let us know how you are doing.
Pictures taken in my village from the archives. Worthy of a second look I think.
Lovely photos, thank you.

Your village is lovely, its great also as you enjoy it,good to see pics again.
ReplyDeleteGood morning fellow walkers. I had a good November with 110 miles. That brings my year total to 1060 miles. I checked against last year's numbers and see that I'm only 11 miles down from last year.
ReplyDeleteYou're right about how quickly the monthly check in times roll around.
Hope everyone has a great day.
Hello Ilona and fellow walkers, I am so very content and happy with the 69 kilometres I managed to walk in November.
ReplyDeleteI plan to start walking and counting at new in 2022 with no particular kilometre goal.
Sending best wishes for a blessed December ( walking ) to you and all walking group members.
Hello. 76 miles in November so 925 total to date. Need 220 miles to get to last year's total so doubtful I will catch up now. The dark nights are not very encouraging so I should have done more in summer. Never mind.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely place to live. My total for the year to date is 1,112.

I really did a lot of walking in November, but I am only at 891 miles, So it will really depend on the weather in December if I reach 1000 miles.
ReplyDeleteYour village is lovely. Of course, with an eye for nice views and a good camera, which you both have, you can make good pictures everywhere.

Beautiful photos :) kilometers walked for Nov is 180 and total to date is 2066. Very happy to have done this many and will keep on going! Joy in Central Victoria Australia
ReplyDeleteHello Illona I don't take part in the walking challenge. Maybe next year. I love your blog and have huge respect for you.You tell it as it is. Best wishes Jo and thanks for all that you inspire me to do. Don't worry about money was the best lesson you taught me.
ReplyDeleteHello Ilona and fellow walkers, not a high mileage month as I wind down towards the end of the year, completing only 89 miles in November and 1189 to date this year. I exceeded last year's total this month and it looks as though there will be about £600 to share with the family as I've continued to save 50p for every mile walked! The short days in December are a bit demotivating but I hope we all manage to keep walking regularly this month! Vicki
ReplyDeleteHello Ilona and members of the International Walking Group.
ReplyDeleteYes I did it. I never thought I would. This month 94 miles, made it to a total of 1058 miles. So I can stay in bed now for the rest of the month. Quite tempting if you look at the weather here in the Low Lands.
Hello all...I clocked 75 miles for November for a total so far this year of 797. I won't make the 1,000 miles but that's ok. I'm still happy with all the walking I've done. My doggo is happy, too!
ReplyDeleteLate check in as usual this month. It seems to come around so quickly! Anyways, I am such a creature of habit - 145 miles (again) in November, which makes 1549 for the year. Hurray! Met my 1500 mile goal. Shall I take it easy in December? Probably not, as I miss walking so much if I don't do it. Happy December Ilona, and all of those also walking.
