Correct.

Having a clear out. Tons of old messages on my little Nokia.

When it all kicked off I wondered if I was doing the right thing by holding off. Now I am certain that my decision not to participate was correct.
The plan for today is to trim my hair, and have a bath. Walk Billy dog, and get ready to go out tonight to the Arts Centre. The artists who are exhibiting, and and their guests, are invited to a presentation evening. Food and drink laid on by the catering staff.
I had better get off my bum and get on with it.

  6. We recently had visit from the Hospice nurse. I told her that she could take her mask off as we were not bothered and she did. Later in the conversation we told her that none of our family have been jabbed and she quickly put the mask back on. lol
I think we would be more at risk from her than the other way around but you're never going to convince the brainwashed are you?

    1. That made me laugh. The staff at North Lincs Council have to wear a mask. Rules is rules. Dominic the boss at the Arts Centre last night had his face covered for the early part of the evening. When it came to the announcements he took it off. I suppose the virus decided to leave him alone because he was stood on his own at the front. A few of the guests were masked up. Their choice. For some people the fear runs deep.

  7. I'm same. Although they wrote to me too informing me that an appointment had been made for me and my Vaseline reserved at the local leisure centre! Ha! I went to the dentist last week and there was a you MUST wear a mask sign on the door. I was the only one there. The dentist let me in I said do you want me to wear a mask? He said no don't bother. He said it's pointless really when I'm going to be looking your mouth πŸ˜†

    1. I had the same scenario when I last had a check up. Nobody in the waiting room, admin staff behind a screen. I entered with a scarf over my face, went straight through to the dentist. I said I can't breath with this on. He said don't bother with it.

    2. Maybe common sense hasn't left the building then after all. I thought maybe it had.
