Aye up me ducks, I am back.
I've been on a little jolly up north. Northumberland, North Pennines, and North Yorkshire. This morning I was at High Force, a waterfall on the River Tees, near Middleton in Teesdale. Can you see me mother. I am at the top of the waterfall. I've car camped for four nights, and last night I treated myself to a bed at Alton Youth Hostel. I had the room to myself as I was the only female there. B & B for £32. Pretty good, eh!.
Now I've got 202 photos and videos to sort out. That will take me a week to post them on the blog. Best get started tomorrow then. For now I am having a glass of sherry before I go to bed.

DeleteI was kind of nervous when you vanished from the site for several days but glad you are out and about having a wonderful time. Have been meaning to ask your opinion on electric cars since you are obviously well tuned to the road and driving.

DeleteI guessed you’d gone away and when the kids are back at school it’s a good time to be out and about. I absolutely love the Northern Pennines and used to spend a lot of time in that area. Have never stayed at Alston YH but used to visit Ninebanks YH as it’s privately owned and they let me take my dog. Had the place to myself several times and it was really cheap. Glad you had a good time and look forward to seeing your photos.
