Christmas Greetings

I cobbled together a Christmas video this morning. Pour yourself a glass of sherry and join me and Gloria  on the sofa.
Two friends came by and surprised me with gifts. I will open them tomorrow.
I set the video to upload and went off for a walk over the fields. After the miserable wet day yesterday it was a tonic to get out in the sunshine today.
Back in the village I saw that Angela's gate was open so I called in to say hello. She has been busy with a big family event for the last three weeks, so I kept out of her way to give her some breathing space. An invitation to stay for a bite to eat was offered, so I gratefully accepted. I was glad of the company.
May I take this opportunity to wish all my readers a very Merry Christmas. I hope you have a lovely day tomorrow. Thank you for visiting my blog. We will catch up soon. Toodle pip

  1. Hello Ilona. so pleased to see you are enjoying Christmas gifts, Christmas tree and something nice to drink, Am sure you will have some lovely food to enjoy on Christmas Day. I was going to call your latest video 'The Queens Christmas Speech' but you have changed your blog title to ' Love My Life; ...... that is so right for you, hope it is a permanent change. A very Happy Christmas to you. Onlyjo

    1. Thank you onlyjo. I changed the title because I have moved away from the money saving aspect of it. I do indeed love my life, and I hope I can enjoy it for a long time to come. Happy Christmas to you.

  2. You're "a big fan of looking forward, and can't change what's already happened"?

That's interesting given the time and energy you give into talking about certain "topics".

    2. The reason I asked is that you seemed to support that argument so was hoping that you would explain this to my “little head”. And I wish you back a Merry Christmas to you and your family.

    3. It would be helpful if you took responsibility for your own head. It has nothing to do with me.

    4. Oh dear, I need to be blunt. I think your support of someone who thinks the Ukrainians are being exploited by the west demonstrates a complete lack of understanding of geopolitics. Again, Happy Christmas to you and your family

    5. I think you are a little confused here. This post is about sharing love and kindness at Christmas. I have no idea who this person is that you speak about. Could I suggest that you surrender yourself to the bosom of your family so that they may help you through your confused thoughts. Best wishes.
