A look at the Quilt Show

Wotcha cock, I've been out today. I went to Newark Showground in Nottinghamshire, where they had a Quilt Show. I am a novice when it comes to quilt making. It's not something that I want to get into in a serious way. I like looking at them, but have no desire to spend 6 - 9 months making one. I'm guessing that it takes that long. I have lots of photo's so I will split them into two posts, more tomorrow. 












I think you will agree that these are pretty amazing. I have picked out all the colourful ones to show here. Come back tomorrow for more, and a video.

    Such a lot of work put into those quilts. I have made two in years past double size and never again. It's like knitting a sweater only worse you get bored but know you must finish LOL.

      I made one quilt, I doubt if I will be making another one. If I do it will be one of the small ones.

    My wife has done a lot of quilting, I like the geometric ones.

      Some people find it very easy to do. I wouldn't have the patience.

    Some stunning work there. Picture quilts are definitely beyond my remit. A Quilt show that was definitely too far away for me to visit, so thanks for going for me!
