It's true.

Listen to this man. Take note. He is right. It's not about right and left. Stop bickering, nit picking, slapping each other down. We are being controlled by the richest people on earth. We have to say, no more. For the sake of humanity we have to reject the evil which is pushing us in the wrong direction.

Now going to Crafty Club. See ya later.

    1. Crafty Club was a laugh as usual. Someone brought in peaches and ice cream for us all. I just had the ice cream. Lovely. . . . When you break down a complicated narrative and put it into simple terms, it makes sense.

  2. I think it is twaddle! People are looking for simple answers to complex issues - an easy answer is it the the oligarchs that are controlling everything. Much more difficult to actually analysis the issues.

    1. I am not sure what you mean. What is twaddle? The issues have already been analysed, over and over again, for several years. The conclusion is that the people who have all the money have louder voices, and call all the shots. The little people have no ammunition to fight back with, and feel they can't do anything to changes things. The truth is they could, if they really want to, but it takes courage to go against the grain.

  3. I agree. The people with money do call the shots...world wide. Leaders of impoverished nations live like kings while the common person is scraping by to live. Wealthier nations give huge amounts of money and food and very little filters down to those in need. In the US, insider trading is illegal. Why do Congress and Senate have spouses that invest and make multi millions doing so? They have the inside scoop! There are too many examples to share.

    1. Your examples are enough. Corrupt Governments are widespread. Greed has no boundaries.

  4. I too agree - Problem I have is that as the cost of living - bills of insurances , electric, taxes etc, etc are rising worryingly so - If I don't pay I will lose my home and or be fined until I do x

    1. Those in power, those with the money, have no idea what a real family struggles to afford. Do your best flis, with whatever resources are at your disposal.

  5. You are always going on about being controlled, how are you controlled?
We don’t live in a totalitarian regime here in England so what is it that you can’t do ?

    1. We in the UK have had a relatively safe life since the war. That will change. It's not about what I personally can or can't do. I would like to hang on to the freedom I have been used to for 75 years. You can keep up with the current situation by consuming news from a lot of different sources. I suggest following the World Economic Forum. They always tell you their plans, what they are going to do next. If that doesn't ring alarm bells then you well and truly have your head buried in the sand.

    1. Understanding the situation is a good tool to have. Knowledge is power. We may not be able to sort out the world problems, but we can do our best for our families and communities.

  7. You have a good life, so why are you always whinging about being controlled ?

    1. Because my life doesn't matter. I can cope with whatever obstacles are in my way. Others can't.

  8. Looks like this topic has touched a nerve with you and others.
Your ideas about what’s going to happen in the world have a hint of “doomsday preppers “ Thankfully there are many of us who don’t believe in all this conspiracy theory garbage put out on social media.

    1. This topic should be touching a nerve of everyone who is concerned about their future. Those who turn a bling eye to it will have a rude awakening when all the conspiracy theories come true.

  9. Ilona - I agree with the sentiment of a lot of what you say. But, which Party to vote for? Aren't they all as bad as each other eventually? - Kate

    1. It is a conundrum for sure. All you can do is look into the backgrounds of the candidates in your area. Are you voting for the person or the party. I usually vote for the person who does a good job for our local community. Now I realise that there are far more important issues at stake than installing a new set of swings in the playground. It's easy to close your mind off from the whole shit show, but if you ignore the important issues which affect the whole country, then you have to justify if you made the right choice or not. Weigh it all up then go with your gut instinct. You can only do your best.

Look how the referendum went on for years after the decision was made to leave the EU. There are still some people who feel bitter about that. Do not carry your despair, or guilt around with you, if the outcome was not what you hoped for. It's not worth wrecking your mental health for. Concentrate on your own life.

Personally I will not vote for the main parties. I will look at what others have to offer. My Reform candidate, in my opinion, does not impress me.

  10. It will only touch a nerve if people believe it. I for one do not. I look at the background of the people pushing this narrative, consider their education and training and then decide. I won’t be following an ex football pundit who still believe the royal family are aliens! And frankly, not sure how you can believe him either.

    1. You can believe what you like. You have made your decision based on something he said in the distant past. You need to look harder at the man as a whole. But you won't.

  11. There is nothing more annoying than smug self righteous people who believe they know it all. Especially if their views are based on conspiracy theories they’ve read on social media.

    1. There is nothing more annoying than angry disillusioned people who sit in front of a TV screen and believe that everything they see and hear is true. But I forgive them because they have been so programmed by mainstream media. They have lost the capacity to think for themselves.
