Random thoughts about this and that

Good evening. Have you had a nice day? It's been warm, breezy, and dry here. I've had a line of washing out to dry. My lunch today was a chopped up avocado pear, two chopped raw mushrooms, drizzled with toasted sesame seed oil, and an egg on the top. It was bloomin lovely.
This afternoon I had a trip to town, to say hello to Nikki at the arts Centre. I got chatting to another lady who works there and found that we have a lot in common. It was amazing, like we were best friends though I haven't seen her before. Funny how that happens.
There were extra traders in town, with their stalls set up in the High street. A bit like a continental style market. I took a few sneaky photo's.

£7 for a sausage, bloomin heck!
I haven't been to town for ages, no need to go to the shops there. This type of shop seems to be everywhere now. Selling junk food, junk drinks, and products that poison your lungs.
Some of the stalls were very colourful.

If you come to our town you must follow the rules as set out by North Lincs Council. Behave yourself or you will get nicked.

Here is a video that I recorded yesterday.
It's our village Summer Fair tomorrow and I will be having a stall next to Janet and Sue for the cat rescue. I hope to sell some of my hand made arts and crafts.
Thanks for popping in. Have a good weekend. Toodle pip.   ilona

    1. Sorting my stock out and deciding what to take has been a nightmare. I keep it all wrapped up in the wardrobe, so when this event happens I am unwrapping and discovering pictures that I had forgotten about. More often than not I fall in love with it all over again and don't want to let go of it. I don't have a lot of space to show it off on the field, and to be honest it is not worth taking too much because there isn't enough customers to make it worthwhile. It will be a nice day anyway. It's mostly about meeting up with friends.

  2. Love the buttons. They make me happy. Am going to try some out on a black sweater that needs color! Thanks for the idea.

    1. Buttons on a black sweater sounds like a good idea. Mix them up, different colours. Perhaps a few around the neckline. Or if you have some small ones arrange them in a flower shape. Have fun playing with your buttons.

    1. Thank you Linda. A positive attitude comes about by pushing all the negative shit to one side, and banishing it from my head forever. I refuse to let it affect me. Two negative troll comments arrived yesterday. Sad people who must be living under a cloak of worry and fear. That's their problem, not mine.

  4. You always come out smiling in life. I know you have your aggravation and things that bug you! But you soon work it out and come out on the positive side. I loved your video and the sweater looks fantastic. Keep on keeping on mother! You always give good advice and food for thought.

    1. Things are never going to be plain sailing, there will always be lumps and bumps in life. My attitude is to always move on to better times. Anyone who hauls their baggage about with them is sure to take a tumble sooner or later. The ability laugh at one's own mistakes is therapy indeed.
