Video number 700

Good evening. I knocked up this video this morning and left it to upload onto yoootooob while I went to the Coffee Morning.
I never bother to check the stats, how many subscribers I have, and how many viewing hours my videos have clocked up. If you are interested it's 10.8k subscribers, this one has had over 900 views. Perhaps these figures might spur others to start their own channel. It's quick and easy if you don't bother to edit them. I can't remember when I first started. I just decided to have a go. I suppose if I had monetised my channel I might have made a few quid, but that was never my intention. It's just a bit of fun.
It's been very cold today. Extra layers needed for dog walking. This will bump the heating bill up a notch or two. Never mind. It has to be done.
Thanks for popping in. Stay warm. Toodle pip.   ilona

  1. Congratulations. I respect that you have stuck to your principles unlike some vloggers who now happily accept freebies to promote and tell followers how much they need the clicks for their income.

    1. When I retired at 60 I said to myself, that's it, no more work. Yoootooob can be a useful tool for those who wish to start a business online. To make a success of it requires the person to advertise their channel on lots of different social media platforms. Subscribers become customers and need to be entertained with ever more new ideas. I watch some of them but drop them if they become too pushy.

  2. You’ve proved you can manage on your income and don’t need extra money. Sorting out tax if you earned money from your channel would be an extra stress and burden. Having more money and managing it isn’t simple.

    1. Hello tbg, Having enough income to cover what I need to spend it on has always been my goal. To have a bit extra for treats, like a holiday or change the car, is very nice, but these costs can be spread out over several months or even years. My pension more than covers my day to day living costs. As you say, too much money would be a worry I can do without.
