Family of five move in

It's quite difficult to get these little sweethearts to keep still for the camera, so there may be one or two fuzzy shots. Mum is two thirds black, one third white, and her kitties are mainly white with splodges of black and brown on them. A big thank you to Robert and Julie for bringing them in here.

Mum seems completely happy with her new accommodation, probably knowing that she is in a safe place and she doesn't have to go out and find food for her babies. She is still feeding them herself, but as you can see from the pics, they are happy to stick their noses into a dish of Felix kitten food.

I'll leave you to ooooh and aaaah over the pics.

This one is my favourite, I love it's little tash, doesn't he/she look cute.

Mum is waiting anxiously for her kitties to come back after their photographic session.

Yum, I like this tasty food.

Tummy full, I'm going to have a sleep now.

  1. aaahhh. Mum is beautiful and doesn't look too old herself does she? I will never understand why people don't spey/neuter/care for their cats. Really glad that you care!

  2. They are simply adorable!! Backtracking a bit, I just read Vinegar is good for getting rid of weeds. Saw that on Pinterest. Pinterest is such a time waster if you have time to waste, but full of great free ideas!

  4. What a bundle of cuties! It`s great that you can provide temporary accomodation for the poor little mites. Let`s hope they all will eventually find loving homes.

  5. Gorgeous, and so lucky to have found a safe haven with you. Will you be keeping the mum and passing the kittens on to good homes?
It makes me long for another cat, but I would never get one while I still have my old girl.
She is 16 now, and stays close to home, but she used to be out all the time in her younger days, and I always worried that she would come to some harm. Thankfully she spread her 9 lives out, and apart from an odd mishap (caused by so-called humans) she has lived a full and happy life.

  6. If I lived nearby I would snap one of these cuties off you in seconds. DD was kissing all the photos when she saw them.

  8. Aw, they're such little cuties!

It looks like you might have painted on the tash while the kitten was sleeping.

The little one with the tash needs to join the Kitler Cats site!

  10. The little one in the last photo is my favourite. I shan't show these to my daughter as she really wants a cat and we can't afford pets. Instead we content ourselves with kittysitting our grandkitty. He's being dropped off this evening as we're looking after him while our other daughter and her partner go away for a few days. It saves him having to go to a cattery, we love having him and he seems to enjoy being here. It's a win-win situation.

  15. Ilona, those wee babies are adorable. If I had not got a4 day away break and a 10 day Cornish holiday booked I would love to have a forever home kitten, my last apartment I couldnt have pets and now I have a bungalow with bags of space and garden I did say I would have a cat again, my favourite baby would be the last picture on here, but they are all beautiful and so is mummy cat.

  17. Hi Rose H, I have seen the site, it makes me laugh.

Yes, he/she also looks like Charlie Chaplin as well. We haven't determined the sex yet.

Scarlet, you are very wise to think about the cost of keeping pets, I wish everyone would. Looking after other people's pets is just as much fun, without the worry of paying for it.

  18. Soooo cute. You lucky thing. I love the one with the moustache - definitely Charlie Chaplin, was thinking he looked like another famous person, but he wasn't very nice. I prefer Charlie Chaplin. Gorgeous all of them.

  19. They are so sweet Ilona, I would love one and I'm sure our old tomcat wouldn't mind, but cats although not as expensive as dogs, do cost money to look after. My eldest son has just rescued two kittens from the local shelter, they came newly spayed, chipped and wormed and I think he had to pay £90 each for them, they are adorable though :0) costing a fortune in cat litter as they are still too young to go out yet.

  20. Hmmm. I was thinking of shaving off my moustache, but I've changed my mind. Especially now I see how attractive a moustache can look.

  23. awww, they are lovely, especially the last photo, it looks like a baby version of one of our cats, Kitt, I think hubby would like to re-home it, given the chance!
We re-homed our other cat Millie three years ago from Cats protection, she was 10 months old and already have three kittens when they found her. It was just too young. I hope all the cats find loving homes.

  25. Every single one a cutie. The mother looks gorgeous too, are you going to keep her? I'm sure the kittens will find homes quickly. I'm glad I don't live anywhere near you or I would be adding to the 7 I've got already :-)

  28. The kittens are so sweet! We adopted our cat when she's an adult already, but I always wondered what she was like as a kitten. Hope Lily is doing well. J
