Perfect ending to a walk.

This is the bonus at the end of the walk yesterday. What more could one ask for. I am standing on the South Bank of the River Humber at South Ferriby. The Cement Works can be seen in the distance. I love it when daylight is fading and the lights start coming on. It adds a whole new dimension to the scene. Yes I did have a torch with me so I was able to pick my way along the edge of a field and along a muddy track back to my car.

I made a guess at about 8 miles but on checking it when I got home, it was 10 miles. The weather was a mix of sunshine and blustery wind. Most of the walk was quite high up, I was glad of a furry hood on exposed areas.
Today is dog walking day, so I won't be going very far. Thanks for popping in.

  1. Hi Ilona, genuine question here, not trolling! How do you anticipate living your life as an unvaccinated person now that covid is going to be endemic? I have been pondering how people will do this. Thanks

    1. I am not sure what you mean by this question. It has been endemic for a long time, it's just that the Government conveniently forgot to mention it. My life will carry on the same as it always has done.

I will ask you a question. Assuming you are jabbed, and I use the term jabbed because it is not a vaccine, how do you feel about your participation in the biggest medical experiment in the world? Are you happy with that?

    2. Its a genuine question, i mean will you go to shops, cafes, things like that where there are crowds? I'm.wondering how unvaccinated people will manage because you could get covid?
Yes, I was and an very grateful for my vaccine. I work in a primary school where we've seen a lot of covid and you get up close and personal with small children. So far so good I've not caught it yet. If i had would i still be here? I have no idea.....

    4. It's all down to personal choice, I had Covid just before Christmas and the only place I go is Tesco, but the covid I caught was bought into my home by someone else living here. Ilona eats healthily, exercises all the time and keeps active.should be more people this dedicated to living life to the full, but ilona please carry on trying to avoid Covid I have never felt so unwell in my entire life. 1. The vastness of it was stunning. Not just a little sun, a dot on the horizon going down. It filled the whole sky as far as I could see. The photo's are just as they came off the camera, not tweaked in any way.
