A last look at the Wildlife Park

Bored today. Wet and dull outside. Might as well stay in the warm and churn out some extra blog posts. Here are the last few photo's of the Wildlife Park visit on Thursday. The car park is massive, as is the park itself, so be prepared to walk a long way if you are planning a visit. Wear sturdy shoes or boots. You can easily spend a day there.
This is the entrance to the shopping area, you walk through this first. Posh gift shops, coffee shops, wild animal photography, plants and flowers, boutique, confectionary, beer shop, wool, and arts and crafts.
Benches to sit on, nicely laid out gardens.

An open air theatre, probably kids shows in the summer.

There is a lot of building work going on. They are planning on a new hotel complex. It's going to be amazing.
Eventually you come to the pay desks at the entrance to the park. It cost me £23 pensioners rate. I was given a map. If you want to see it all you will need a day here.
There are lakes to walk around, woods to walk through, and lots of small animals to see. There is a big choice of food eating places, sit down inside or outside. Picnic areas if you take your own food.
Phew, I think I've covered everything there. I think it would be nice to go back in late summer when everything is more green.
Thanks for popping in. Toodle pip.   ilona
