Exploring Conisbrough

It's getting a bit late to write a post, so I'll put a few pics out from my day out today. I went to Conisbrough, not far from the A1M motorway in South Yorkshire. I parked next to the castle. I walked around the outside of it but didn't go in because I forgot to take my purse. What a plonker. 

I had a good old mooch around. 

Walked along the river to Sprotbrough. 

Walked underneath the viaduct.

Look how high it is. 

And I walked along the top of it. The railway has long gone, now it is footpath. The views on both sides.
