  1. Debi from Leicester.Good morning Ilona.Ive just written a comment....and the battery went on my laptop......so Ill start again, lol.I think your garden looks great and it did make me laugh seeing the cats face peering out of the grass! The ducks are lovely too.Its nice to see wild life in the garden.I dont get ducks here, but lots of squirrels and different kinds of birds.I love watching them!.Your plants are coming along nicely!I was given a strawberry plant from my mate Flis. Also some Jerusalem artichoke from Tutbury museum. My sunflower seeds from last year are growing through as well.Ive got 3 areas growing with buttercups. The slugs, woodlice and red worms are loving life in my compost...although I wish they would stop breeding.Im half expecting them to line up at the local post office to get their family allowance, lol.Hope you have a great day.xx

    1. Good to hear from you, Debi. Ducks visiting again today. I have made a bath for them with an old cat litter box. They are loving splashing about in it.

  2. Your garden looks fantastic!!! I was looking at the hedges and remembered reading on your blog where you started them in pots and transplanted them. What a fabulous and frugal privacy hedge!!! Just like everything when being frugal you need patience, and given time it all works out perfectly. I so appreciate all your advice and tips.
