Really good park up

I had several ideas for the second day of this two day trip. Do I go north or south from Chesterfield. First I need to park up. I took the easy option and headed back onto the M1 motorway, joining it at junction 29. Northbound is Woodhall Services, Southbound is Tibshelf Services. I chose south.
I paid my £15 for 24 hours parking at the WH Smith shop, and chose a parking spot well away from the busy comings and goings of other motorists. It was still daylight so tidied the car up a bit to record a video of the interior. It was a ten minute video. I'm sorry to say that after checking it on the computer when I got home, I deleted it. The traffic noise in the background was too much. It also revealed something visually that I didn't want to show to the whole world. That's what you have to be careful off, because there are people out there who don't miss a thing. Never mind. I will have another go at making that, in a much quieter place.
So what else is there to do on a Motorway Service Area before it's time to go to bed. Go for a walk, and have a look at the trucks parked up for the night. Look at these two beauties. Fabulous Volvo with all the lights and eye catching bull bars. They bring back happy memories, though I am glad I am out of it. I wouldn't have time to do this now, my time is taken up with enjoying retirement.
Company vehicles don't usually get any extras, unless it's a boss who loves his trucks.

I haven't seen this before. Washing and drying machines in the lorry park. I wondered how much it costs to use them but I couldn't find a price. Pay with an app of course.
I walked around the edges of the service area, looking for the back way out. There always is one, for the staff to use. I saw this poster on a pole near to the petrol pumps. Me being nosey I have to read posters. I couldn't understand a word of it, so I post it here to see if anyone can throw any light on the words used.
Time to go back to my car and get tucked in for the night. One last visit to the ladies toilet for a pee and brush my teeth. I must say I had a good nights sleep. The modification to strengthen the bed with a piece of sturdy mesh fireguard worked well. No more stiff neck.
Friday morning I made up my mug of coffee, and a tub of porridge, with hot water, and took it over to the seating area inside the warm cafeteria. I sat and watched people come in for their breakfast. Mostly men in vans on their way to work. I like people watching.
I set off southbound and came off at junction 28.
So where to next. See the next episode. Catch ya tomorrow. Toodle pip.   ilona
