Hey, look at this. I found this dress in a charity shop yesterday, it was on the £1 rail outside the front of the shop. The colours caught my eye, some pretty fabric for bag making I thought.
It's in a soft jersey fabric in new condition, no worn bits anywhere, not a designer label though. It has a collar and little cap sleeves, buttons down the front, and a tie belt.
The label says it's a size 16, I am a 10/12 and it fits me perfectly.
I am as pleased as punch. This little number is not going to get cut up, I am going to wear it. Now all I want is some sun.
Wow it's lovely - I'll do a little rain dance so any warm weather is diverted up your way and you have a chance to wear it! x
ReplyDeletevery pretty indeed!
ReplyDeleteNow you have to make things to complete the ensemble:D
I'd call that a result! It looks lovely :0)

Way to pretty for a tote bag! Much better as it is.
ReplyDeleteHave you considered taking orders for your cat food totes from overseas?
Very pretty & ready for all this lovely weather we're supposed to be getting. Yes, too pretty to cut up.
ReplyDeleteI've got a coat I bought from a jumble sale to cut up for a rug but when I got it home, it's wool and angora with a label from Berlin. That's not going to see scissors.
You look so cute - cant believe it was only a quid !
ReplyDeleteWhat a fab little number! The person inside isn`t so bad either, lol. You just look lovely in that outfit!!!
ReplyDeleteOf course you'll need to make a bag to go with it!!
