A Godfrey rant.

 Another one from Godfrey.

Not hidden.

Not accidental.

Not incompetence.

All planned.

Steady Godfrey.

Discussion on Asylum Centres.

Katie Lam raised a point of order, stating that the Home Office planned to announce the opening of 12 new asylum seeker centres across the UK without providing prior notification to Parliament. She argued that MPs should be informed first to properly represent their constituents.
Speaker Sir Lindsay Hoyle strongly condemned the government's actions, calling them "totally unacceptable." He emphasized that MPs must be consulted on decisions affecting their local areas before such news is released publicly.
The Speaker reiterated his stance that the government must change how it communicates these decisions, urging ministers to ensure Parliament is informed correctly and in a timely manner.
