A story from the diary.

Good evening.
Look at the time. I've been watching Ben Fogle. Didn't notice how late it is. Here is the video I recorded this morning.
It's easy to find yourself in a rut. In a dead end job that is repetitive. Where your days, weeks, months, follow the same routine. When it gets to that stage boredom kicks in and your brain becomes redundant. If I was not looking forward to going to work, I knew I had to change jobs. Some people would love that kind of security. To know that their daily routine was going to be the same as the day before. That was not for me.
Now I  must go to bed. Catch ya tomorrow. Toodle pip.  ilona

    1. Hello Levi. The easy option is to stay where you are and do nothing. Then when you get to the end of your life you will wonder what it was all about. Changes can be made to put you on the right track, if you find the courage to do so. Go forth and make the best of your life.

    2. So true ilona. Life seems harder job wise especially those with. GFS Bfs kid's etc. Impossible . But if you get a job keep it.. not east throwing it out. A friend of mine bought a burger van. He lost quite alot of cash.. he wasn't selling enough for the costs he put in.. ,luckily he stuck with it it's paid off.. so never jack ..as they say... he's going to great Dorset steam fair /car boot sales with big open airfield market this year so he should do OK..

      Lotsa luck..Levi xx 😘 ❤️

  2. I agree with you Ilona, but unfortunately it isn't as easy to jump in and out of jobs as it used to be. Can't say I'm very keen on my job but it pays the bills plus a bit extra, and has a lot of benefits that comes with it. Its probably the best job I could have in the area I live in, and is very convenient for me being local. I can't say the job itself is very thrilling, but I think most people tend to put security over anything else especially with the state of the job market these days. I'm in my late 30s and I worry about the future my nephews have at my age, I wonder what jobs will be left by then.

  3. Thank you for your replies. The jobs market is very unstable at the moment, and will continue to be so for several more years. Manual jobs will be lost as the Governments prepare to hand over to a Global cabal which have their own agenda. Work will be more computer based as the advancement of AI and robots take over. Heavy industry production will be scaled down here and more of it will be outsourced to China. The UK will become a big player in the services sector.

  4. Loved the video as I really enjoy hearing about your lorry driving days. I imagine it's a much less interesting job now with all the rules and regulations and not as easy to change jobs too.
Have you thought of a permanent home for your diaries or do you have someone to pass them on to? My Dad kept a diary for 11 years - just his day to day life and family activities, a record of the weather conditions etc but I still find them interesting. I found this project I might donate them to - https://thegreatdiaryproject.co.uk Sadly I have no family who would treasure them and I don't like the idea of them going in a skip when something happens to me.

    1. I haven't decided what to do with my diaries yet. I can't see any of my family being interested enough to keep them. I will not let anyone be fishing them out of a skip. In keeping with my lifelong philosophy of walking away from a place I no longer want to be, I may make a bonfire in the back garden and watch them burn. With a glass of wine in my hand I will look to the heavens and say to myself, 'it was good while it lasted'.
