Dr. Michael Yeadon, a toxicologist & former Pfizer executive, issues a dire warning: Digital ID isn’t convenience—it’s control. Once adopted, governments & institutions will recognize you only through this system. You cease to exist as a person. You become a QR code—an address to resources that can be edited, restricted, or revoked at will.
Life may become a little difficult if we/you refuse to comply. I manage very well without a smartphone. I cannot scan QR codes. I don't buy online, and use cash in shops. It may be that I can't take the fastest route through life, but there is always a slower route to go around the houses. We will all arrive at the same place, but I won't sell my soul to the devil.

I think we can say with certainty that digital ID is where we are heading. The powers that be aren't building all these data centers for nothing! The US has many issues with data breaches/theft and I have found my personal data for sale all over the place or advertised online without my permission (of course) so the way I look at things these days, unfortunately, is that ALL of our data is available at will for any paying (or non paying for that matter) entity that wants to obtain it. Gradually, our public services here that used to require a visit in person are now moving solely online. Driver license renewals, as just one example, are completely online only in my region. It all points to the adoption of digital ID before long. ~ EssDee
ReplyDeleteI don't see any state in the US that requires online-only driver's license renewal. I think most states now offer the choice of renewing online, but one must show up in person periodically for photos and vision testing.
