Hello. It's been a mixed bag of weather these last two days, I have been freezing cold and sweating hot. Thankfully it didn't rain, but boy was the wind bitter. This is me snug in the campercar, it was lovely and warm under the duvet. I've made a start on sorting the pictures out, took 94 in total. I'm off to bed now because I'm tired. I'll post some pics tomorrow.
Nighty night. See you soon.

ReplyDeleteLooking forward to hearing more about your adventure. If you decide you like your car camper you might like to consider making a removable platform for the back as this would allow for storage underneath and a flatter sleeping area. You can get a conversion kit for Citroen Berlingo's and Fiat Doblos for around £300 so you might want to consider getting one of these when you come to change your car. Kristel
ReplyDeleteThis reminds me of when we went camping, all 5 of us and the camp site was awful. We decided to drive home and all spent the night in the back of Tom's work van in a lay by, we had used it to get to our destination. we were coiled together, but the problem was when one of us wanted to get out in the night for a pee.

I've wanted a van for a long time. We used to have a VW camper in the 90's but were too skint to keep it maintained so off it went. Weve got an old estate now but would love a van, transit maybe. It looks so cosy in yours.
ReplyDeleteMy goodness Ilona, you have the heart of a lion. I'm full of admiration. Hope you had a great time, Karen
ReplyDeleteYou look lovely and cosy. We have a VW Camper and I sleep much better when we are camping than in my own bed at home. We use an old bottom half sleeping bag on the bottom sheet and a king size duvet on the top....lovely jubbly. Rae x
ReplyDeleteWhere did you park up on a site or by the side of a road?
ReplyDeleteWait and see.
DeleteDo you have a hot water bottle Ilona? X
