Time for doodling

I haven't got a lot to do at the moment, a bit of time to kill, so I've been doodling again. Now I have a set of four mugshots, much improved with a bit of stitching, ha ha. Perhaps I should keep going, add some more, then enter the collage in an art competition. Is there no end to my talent ;O))



Don't worry, I am not losing my marbles, I will be getting busy towards the end of the week. On Friday I'm off to my friends house in Hampshire for a few days, then a couple of nights stopover at the Youth Hostel in Oxford on the way back. I've always wanted to see Oxford. Hope your Christmas arrangements are going according to plan and everything works out well for you. Toodle pip.

    Very nice ! You will love Oxford; I visit every chance I get. Wonderful walking and the Park and Ride is the way to go.

    I went to University in Oxford and it remains a special place in my heart. You will love it!

    The hostel looks great and we must use it sometime.

    It's so handy for train and town. And you can walk everywhere.

    Don't forget to visit Blackwells bookshop in Broad Street.

    Pubs: The White Horse on Broad Street-famous for Inspector Morse/The Turl by the Bridge of Sighs/Lamb and Flag-CSLEWIS/The Bear-has all the college ties on the walls.

    Music at the Holywell Music Rooms.

    Check out the Sheldonian Theatre-designed by Sir Christopher Wren. I had my Graduation there.

    And the Radcliffe Camera-I loved going there to study.

    Just loggged onto your blog today and watched the Two Dogs Dining. I laughed so much I got my husband to watch it. The tears were rolling down his cheeks as well!
    Many thanks for giving us a good laugh, especially as we both find Christmas, dare I say it, a bit depressing.

    Ilona, if you fancy a walk in Oxford, can I recommend Port Meadow? depending on how much time/energy you have, you can walk up the Thames on the East side on Binsey lane (start off the Botley road), then over the river when you reach Wolvercote and down the other side. I used to live in Oxford and I loved that walk. Hope you have fun!
