  5. Loved this Ilona. This spelling is like that of most of my men - all three are dyslexic so it was so good to see what you had written. If people don't like what you write , no one is forcing them to read.
When my DH and I started a long distance courtship , I use to correct his spelling mistakes!!! My defence , I was young and didnt know about dyslexia. Have a good day .

    As for the troll:
Probably the same nasty little troll that keeps bothering Silver Sewer. Their mother would be so proud...don't you think?

  9. Ilona, I read your blog with pleasure and post comments - or not - in kindness. To anyone else who feels they should correct you for anything they don't like: treat them with the contempt they deserve!

  10. Love it!

Anyway, We don't come here for the spelling and punctuation. We come here for your wonderful tales and your great ideas!

  11. Ilona....I have just discovered your blog in the past month or so, and look forward to it everyday! You have been an inspiration... For the life of me, I can't understand people who deliberately go after others, miserable hateful people. Keep up the wonderful blog, I love your pictures,

  15. All bloggers should club together and buy a nice big billy goat to get rid of the troll.
You are fine just as you are. What is this country coming to, some negative nasty people about.

  16. Who says you're not clever if you can't spell? I know some very smart men (I have to say it's usually men) who are awful spellers. I notice spelling mistakes very easily because spelling comes easily to me, but I wouldn't dream of being so impolite as to correct someone -- and don't check my math -- especially my check book!!!

  20. I feel sorry for the person that felt they needed to correct you. You can imagine what an uptight life they have. I read your blog almost everyday and as a fellow blogger I know how much effort goes into writing a blog, let alone putting on pictures. I thank you for your wonderful blog.

  25. Apparently some of the best writers in the world cannot spell or punctuate. I think that is why they have editors. A luxury some of us more humble bloggers can't afford.

  37. Spelling is my one talent and yes, I frequently notice spelling mistakes in books, papers and blogs ..... but who the hell cares!!! The key here is that it's YOUR blog, so you can spell any way you want to. If you wanted a proof reader then I'm sure you would have asked for one by now. Some people REALLY need to get a life!
Carry on the good werk ;o)
