Where am I?

Hello. Excuse my lateness, but I've been out today, plus I called in at Tesco on the way back and picked up some yellow stickers. I have lots of photo's but I'll leave them till tomorrow. In the meantime can you guess where I was when I took this selfie? A city I have visited before but not been there for a few years. 
off to bed now. We'll catch up tomorrow.

    You are in Lincoln with Lincoln Cathedral in the background. I've never been there but learned a bit about the cathedral in art history class. (I hope that I'm correct.)

    I've been hoping that you'd visit there. (I thought you might have blogged about the cathedral before I began reading your blog.) I'm looking forward to seeing your photos.

    Hi Ilona, looks like a lovely day for you, nice photo. I reckon you're on the walls in York, that's probably the Minster behind you. I'm enjoying your latest walks, you'll have done your 1000 miles early at the rate you're going, and such scenic walks too. Love, Elaine B

    Looks like you could be on the walk way (don't know what it's called) at Lincoln Castle as that looks like the Cathederal behind you. Looking forward to seeing the photos
