I've been busy today. Six pet beds made from a donated duvet and a sleeping bag. I used the cover from the duvet to cover three of them. The duvet wasn't very thick so I doubled it up. Cut the zip off the sleeping bag, and used some fabric I already had for the covers. These can be put in the washer as they are. I sell them locally very cheap, and send the money to an animal charity.
Now the kitchen calls me. Time to make dinner. Toodle pip. ilona
Every time you post about doing these things for the animals it warms my heart. Thank you for putting your time and talents to such good use.
ReplyDeleteAnimals can't speak, that's why I like to help them. Thank you for your comment.
DeleteThose look so comfy. The pets will love them. You are so thoughtful to do that Ilona. I am still recouping from my fall 7 weeks ago when I fell face first on concrete sidewalk. It was uneven and I didn't see it in time. Last thing still hurting is my two front teeth which are causing alot of pain. Been to dentist couple times and may need gum surgery if bone and nerve damaged. Hope not though but pain is getting worse so want it fixed soon. Blessings to you and all.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear that your recovery is going on so long. I hope you get the treatment you need.

ReplyDeleteI am trying hard not to become a hoarder, and constantly looking for ways to make something, pass it on, and get it out of the house.
DeleteFantastic idea, I may try that myself if i adopt another cat when the rescue centre reopens. thanks!
ReplyDeleteA local lady bought some of these for her rabbits. Suitable for any small fur babies.
