What do you know about Central Bank Digital Currency? Maybe not a lot, like me. I find this video very useful in trying to understand what is going on in the financial world.
It is something we all need to be aware of. The Governments of the world want to control every aspect of our lives by controlling our money. See how that word, 'control' always puts in an appearance whenever anything connected to the Government comes into play. The future looks very bleak if CBDC is allowed to take hold. They will try very hard to push ahead with this. It is already happening in it's early stages in some countries.
Sorelle Amore is a financial expert. Watch to the end, she gives some pointers about how to stop it happening and how you can keep control of your money. The first and most important step is to keep using cash. Decline any new purchases which involve using plastic, as much as you can.

Of course the government wants money from people that they think they need. I like to keep some cash. My money not their's as we earned it not them and we pay taxes. Thanks for the video.

The cashless thing would be awfull for many reasons one being if everything was just being done through a card at the bank no cash at all the government would find some way of checking what balance we all had .the poor would become even poorer and people who earn small amounts for cash like cleaning houses gardening etc would then have to have every thing paid in a bank.thats the tip of the iceberg of the problems it would cause but it would be a huge controll over us and our private finances watching every purchase we make.i think it will come soon if we don't stop it somehowx
ReplyDeleteits all a bit of a rabbit hole , progress is turning into an evil tool , speaking for those of us who are in the bog end of nowhere without a lot of connection to the mainstream having to manage living cashless is a nightmare the nearest access to cash is in a bleedin tourist town so basically no access , the machines are always empty .
ReplyDeleteAnd what about the homeless and destitute? The people who have nothing and have to shelter in shop doorways and hope that people will give enough of their loose change to cover the cost of a meal and a hot drink? Maybe they'll have to write their bank details on a piece of cardboard in the hope that someone will transfer some funds into their account? What if they can't get a bank account?

When a shop tried to change an ATM to a paid one, the local mp campaigned and got them to change their minds. One lady said she didn't know how she would pay the coal man if she couldn't get cash out for no charge. There are so many folks still depending on cash, I hope the powers that be don't get their way.
