Mini tour of Ripon Cathedral.

I'm back again. There are a lot of photo's to sort out from this trip. Let's have a closer look at Ripon Cathedral. It was open to the public, luckily not too busy so I didn't have to do much visitor dodging. There was a welcome at the door and an opportunity to ask questions. I don't usually get involved in long conversations, I just like to wander around to get a flavour of the place, and enjoy the spiritual feeling I get when I am in these buildings of worship.

The beauty of places like this is mind boggling when you think of the sheer scale of them and how long ago they were built. How did they do it? In another blog post I will show you the dead opposite of this. A small very basic church I came across, which I thought was beautiful.  If you click on a picture you should get a full screen slide show come up.
Hope you enjoy the the video.

  1. Just breath taking!!!! Hubby and I have read on the history. And it is just absolutely amazing how that many years ago they were able to construct such fabulous structures. The stain glass, the organ pipes it’s just all glorious!!! Thanks for the tour mother!!! You are helping us to visit places we would otherwise never get to see. ♥️😊🙏🏻
