Shocking and sad.

I don't know what this young lady had been doing before this incident. It looks like she was filming with her phone. She is standing on her own. 

Macron's thug whacks her leg with his baton. I assume the person is male but who can tell when his entire body is covered in black leather, and his head is covered by a black helmet and visor. 

She leans forward to rub her leg. Note where his hand is. He grabs her hat and yanks it off. 

He drops the hat to the ground. 

She is wearing plastic goggles to protect her eyes. He then makes a grab at them, and her mask. 

She tries to hold onto them.

He tugs harder, making threatening gestures with his baton. 

She is trying to hang on to them and not let go.

He notices that he is being filmed and makes threatening gestures towards the person. 

He has the mask in his hand and confronts the other person. 

Big man eh! These are not normal police. Imagine if no one had a camera phone. How would anyone in the world know this level of violence was happening. In this time of technology you can't hide everything, push it under the carpet.  You can't hide the truth when independent journalists are in the thick of it trying to show what really happens. Yes there are riots, yes people are angry, but they can only be pushed so far.
