    So terribly, terribly sad but I cannot support his dated views on women. He thought women should prioritize being a wife and mother.

      Absolutely I agree 100% it is no reason to shoot someone. He also said that the death penalty should be quick and on TV! Again not a reason to kill someone.

      Ye i think that women should prioritize the family first .With him ,it was family first and i totally agree on that People has their own thoughts on everything .i think it should not be on any social platform Thats what causes everyone to act ,differently and with malice The family comes first.

    How strange Martha that you should want to list what you consider to be his faults when the man is barely cold. Couldn’t you find one nice thing to say about him?
    Charlie’s murder has shocked me to my core, so close to the horrific murder of that poor young woman on the train. I’ve cried for them both. I’m not a praying woman but last night I prayed for Charlie and Iryna and their families.

      Thank you Anna. Two shocking murders in a few days. Poor Iryna sitting on a train and being attacked from behind. As if that isn't bad enough then finding no one coming to help her. I don't know much about first aid, but if you can stem the flow of blood then there is a chance.

      I abhor his death but disagree with most of his opinions.His faults…he was a homophobe and I am gay.

      Shocking Tammy. What is more shocking is that videos and comments are being posted by mentally deranged, mostly young people, who are rejoicing his death. I'm afraid the brainwashing is working.

    This would appear to be just the latest incident in an increasing trend, predominantly architected by "left-wing" activists, to replace rational discussion of different ideas, and attempts to convince through power of one's argument, to an attitude that claims that anyone not wholly and entirely in support of one's position, however extreme or irrational, must be silenced at at costs, even to the extent of literal murder. It is the logical end-point of the "cancel" culture so beloved of these activists - a dead person can no longer propound ideas that they take umbrage at.
    When I think back to the ideological battles in my youth between the likes of Wedgewood -Benn and his opponents, they had the grace to credit their opponents with intelligence and principles, and did not display this visceral hatred so much on display today.
    Maybe it is a last-ditch attempt by discredited individuals who know that their ideas are rejected out of hand by the majority, and have no other way except violence to impose them?

      Thank you Will. I think you have summed up the situation pretty much as most right minded people see it. There is a disease of the mind being being promoted by those who are delusional. The majority can see this. Words and their meanings are twisted to fit the left wing narrative. This cannot be sustained indefinitely, something's got to give. I fear that there will be more bloodshed. More people need to wake up to the evil that walks among us.

      Good morning, honestly I think this is orchestrated masterfully to sustain and reinforce the republican view and narrative. Think, who's going to win in this situation? not the liberal, for sure. If you read some pages in some platforms, you can see with your eyes that the MAGA are calling for war and murder. So I do not think a leftist, a liberal did this. It's against their goal to gain more votes in the next election. Moreover it was a shot by a sniper. Snipers are well trained and in fact that shot was a coup de maître. it was not a mistake. Military almost. I lean more on a republican way to stir the water and increase their grip. It happened just after the booing in NYC (with surveys that gave the republican not so strong, as they were in the beginning) and right before the 9/11 anniversary. there is more, but it's a blog and not a place for an essay. I think this killing is not what it seems. i think also, you should analize why a maga killed a senator and her husband, dresses like a policeman and in a short period of time other democrats senator + consort were beaten hard, again by a republican.       What do I think, or what does Will think? You lost me halfway through that. The media has a big role to play in this. They are under the influence of the richest people on earth to stoke up fear with the one aim of accelerating conflict to bring about the downfall of western civilisation. Globalisation will never work. People who hate each other will never live in harmony side by side. It's what they want. Total control.

I strongly believe the hand that pulled the trigger was a hand of a "friend" (same political part); the goal? I think you are smart enough to understand what is the scheme behind this murder. The liberal are the scape goats in this situation. I'm sorry but what happened does not add up. What I hope, strongly, this situation will not end with a civil war

    I don't follow American politics so I know nothing about Charlie Kirk.
    So now I do. He was an ok guy. Strong principles of what is right and what is wrong. Lots of logical thinking and common sense.
