Morecambe to the Humber Bridge. 162 miles in nine days. Ribblehead was the only place I had booked accommodation, as it is in the middle of nowhere, and I wanted to be sure of a bed. All the others, I just turned up.

Ellesmere Port to Bakewell. This trip should have finished at Scunthorpe, but I had to abandon it at Bakewell, due to bad weather. 90 miles in five days. I had a bed for the night from my friend in Ellesmere Port, and another friend gave me a bed the second night. The others I just turned up.

hi, have you walked from hull along the coast towards easington.
ReplyDeleteHello. I have walked from Hull Centre to Paull then Hedon, and got the bus back. I have driven to Easington, parked, and walked to Spurn Point and back. I haven't walked the bit in the middle. It's a long way from Hull to Easington and would require nights out, I don't think there are many B & B's along there.
