The show is over

Hello. I was sad to miss a walk in the sunshine this afternoon, but I had work to do in the Bedroom Gallery. All art is wrapped up and packed away. It's a laborious task but it's best to do it properly. I am a stickler for making sure nothing gets damaged. When I had a mobile stall selling fancy goods and giftware at events, I was always the one who took the longest time to set up, and was always the last to leave.

A few of my village friends came to see it. I took photo's with my tablet, and that was handed around the Crafty Club members who weren't able to come. So all in all I think it was worth doing. I think I might make this an annual event. Maybe you would like to join me next year. Now for some dinner, I am rather hungry.

Thanks for popping in. Toodle pip.   ilona

  4. It was lovely to see it all so well displayed. Your care in packing it away is so worthwhile, any damage would be so upsetting after all that work.

Thank you for the invite to your gallery showing, I provided my own coffee and nibbles and had a really good browse :-)

  5. Everything that's worth must be taken care of...hehehehe
Good to know your friends were able to watch your art and crafts, even on the distance...as they say know, it's the new reality...
Yesterday it was sunny, today is a bit cloudy and greyish... let's hope the week will turn to my content, lots of sunshine and bluish skies. Anyway, good to know we are well and alive. Hugs!

    1. Yes, it's interesting. Every day there is more info, more people are speaking out. A lecture last night by Lord Sumption gives me hope that there are legal people onto the case. The Government will have a lot to answer to. Transcript here....

It's long, but very comprehensive. Slow to start, you might want to fast forward the introduction.
I just sat through it and was almost in tears, knowing that the Government have destroyed so much and continue to do so. Lord Sumption talks about the legal aspect of how they have handled it. It wouldn't surprise me if there will be prosecutions.
