A walk and a pussycat.

Good evening. It's getting late so I'll just jot a few notes down tonight.
News of The Old Rectory at Claxby. The reserve price was £150.000, it sold for £435.000. I hope it went to some nice people who will renovate it back to it's former glory.
Today I thought it was about time I went a walk over the Humber Bridge, so I left my car at Barton, and did a 'there and back' walk as fast as I could. I was well wrapped up, several layers, topped with the oversize hoodie. I find if I wrap a long scarf twice round my neck, over the top of any coat with a hood, and tie it at the front, it pulls it closer to my head so the wind doesn't get in. The highlight of the walk was seeing a man on a unicycle coming towards me. He must have been cold. I chuckled and he smiled. I saw him again as I was coming back.
Turnaround point to come back.
I made it back just as the sun was disappearing. The tide was in. I saw three barges making their way inland to the ports.

Here is another pussy video. I know many of my readers like pussies.

I visited The Ropewalk Gallery while I was in Barton. Had a smashing chat with a young lady who was viewing the artworks. I have some photo's of the gallery so I'll post them tomorrow.
Thanks for popping in. Have a good weekend. Toodle pip.   ilona

  1. I too hope the Rectory went to someone who give her a good sprucing up! Looks like a great walk. I can imagine it was extremely cold, wind from the water on one side and traffic whizzing by on the other. Brrrrrr. Stay warm ilona!!! Freezing rain expected here tomorrow, we will be tucked in warm and happy. 😊😊
