Hello. Here are a few pictures of the Lego Exhibition on display at the moment at the 20 21 Visual Arts Centre in Scunthorpe, until the 20th of June. I was dead impressed with this. Warren Elsmore is an artist who gets to play with Lego all day long, a job I think many would like to do. He has had this passion since he was a young boy, now he is living his dream. I will leave you to look around.
So, what else have I been doing. The quilt is divided and and cushion pads/beds made. Now I need to make the covers.
It's good to see so many of you are still enthusiastic about walking, thanks for checking in with your miles. If you haven't already done so you can go to the 1st of the month post any time to update your progress.

Wonderful colours of the buildings.Lego is so exciting-just the possibilities are endless.I had to play with my cousins Lego,my mum said it was for boys.My boy cousins lil<ed my dolls.Thanl<s to you there will be lots of comfy little animals and botties x
ReplyDeleteWhen I was small, we had some of the first Lego available in Canada. The product available today is remarkable (mind you, I also remember our first colour TV). My thing is dollhouses, but I confess I keep checking ebay for a Lego haunted house. Thanks for the fun photos! Hugs from Barbara (Canada)

I visited the Burlington Royal Botanical Gardens last week to see their huge lilac display and while there we went over to one of their other gardens and along with the plants there is a about a dozen large lego displays - birds, flowers, insects! Just amazing and lots of fun.

Oh,I used to love my Lego when i was a kid,I also had something called Better Builder,These were smaller blocks to build little houses with and used to have green slates that you slotted together to make the roof.Wonderful memories! I used to sit and build those little houses for hours.I recognised St.Pancras straight away!Debi,Leic,x
ReplyDeleteI make cat quilts out of old duvets as well. Covering them with material from charity shop duvet covers.
ReplyDeleteI put quilting stitches through all around the edges and a few in the middle, so that they can be washed easily and don't get lumpy.
Absolutely amazing, am loving that St. Pancras! I loved Lego as a child, I liked to build houses:)
