Why settle for dull, when you can have colour? Oscar is keeping me company.
I've been dipping into this box of tester paints for a few years now, adding a few when I find them being sold off cheap. Some of these cost 10p each. Not a big choice of colours left now but I've done my best to add colour to the table with what I already have.
I've watched UK Column News while eating my lunch, now I'm off back outside again. Thank you to the Walking Group for checking in, it's nice to see you are all doing really well. Have a nice weekend everyone, and we'll catch up soon.

Even better!
ReplyDeleteI thought it was a definite improvement.
DeleteThat all looks lovley the plants in pots the lovley coloured table and chairs so creative.great to see dear Oscar x
ReplyDeleteOscar still doesn't come inside very often. I expect that will change when the weather gets colder.
DeleteI love it!
ReplyDeleteIt's beginning to take shape.
DeleteI wondered if you might add some colour to brighten it up. That will sit well with your summer house. Arilx
ReplyDeleteIt still looks a bit bare in that area. Some gravel to cover the concrete base would help.
DeleteThe table looks great, your energy puts me to shame, haha! I have some little paint pots I need to use up, I'll have to get my thinking cap on and see what I can do with them. X
ReplyDeleteYou could paint a pair of old trainers.
DeleteYeah, for color!
ReplyDeleteAnd so says me as well.
DeleteBeauty! Looks like a peaceful, calming space to enjoy and relax in.
ReplyDeleteIt looks peaceful, but when I was out there yesterday I could hear light aircraft passing overhead, coooing pigeons, a strimmer in the neighbours garden, and voices in the garden on the other side. I have to pick my times if I want peace and quiet, or take my hearing aid out.
DeleteI preferred the natural to be honest, but am sure you will love it which is what counts
ReplyDeleteHi Ilona, Last week my husband painted our front door using a mixture of 2 paint colors (from partially used paint cans stored away in our garage for years). The final color is really lovely. He too never throws anything away! Hope you have a nice weekend. Hugs...Nancy from Northern California
ReplyDeleteHello Nancy. Good idea. I could have mixed the paint, but I couldn't be bothered with all the mess. I used it squeezed straight from the tube. Only the brush to clean.
DeleteOh, I love that table!! (and the seating area)
ReplyDeleteI chose the best pallet from the four I have. Now what to do with the other three.
DeleteLovely and cheerful for the winter
ReplyDeleteI now get a better view from my window. Glad the tumbledown old garage has gone.
