Arty crochet

I've been to the Arts Centre in town today. It normally closes at 4pm but they extended it to 6pm and had a 'Meet the Artist' session. Abby Frances created these pieces, first on an ipad, then she transferred the designs onto a computer programme which converts them into crochet patterns. It must have taken her many hours of work to complete eleven pieces. Each one is backed with fabric to keep it in shape. 

A glass of wine was served with nibbles. I enjoyed chatting with Abby and getting the low down on how these ideas came to her.  Her work is super neat and tidy. Only three more days left if you want to see it.
