Good morning. Today is the start of a brand new month. And once again it's check in time for the International Walking Group. How have you all been doing. Once again I am lagging behind. I don't expect to be sprinting towards the finish. More like rambling along country lanes enjoying the scenery.
This morning is looking a tad overcast, I think some rain is expected. I have nothing planned so pottering around the house and garden is the order of the day.
I knocked this video out yesterday, so I post it here for those who don't go to yoootooob.
Let's hear it from the walkers. How many miles have you done.
Thanks for popping in. We'll catch up soon.

Hi Cath from Ireland here. I agree with you wholeheartedly. So many people get caught up In worrying about things that haven’t happened or may never happen. We can only control ourselves and deal with what is happening in our own lives. It is wise to question and research nearly everything pushed by MSM. I am still plodding on with my walking despite a couple of cracked ribs from a silly fall. The most painful thing is lying in bed HaHa 86miles this month 634 in total. Keep up the good work so enjoy watching your travels.
ReplyDeleteHello Catherine. Misinformation can rip through a story like a wildfire. A lot of it is perpetrated by the MSM. Oh dear, cracked ribs sound very painful. I believe you just have to wait it out for them to heal. In the meantime your walking is spot on. You are on track to make the 1000 miles. Well done.
DeleteGood morning Ilona and fellow walkers, just checking in with my total for July which is 196km (121 miles) so that brings my total mileage for seven months to 1229km (763 miles). I'm really enjoying the challenge and as it's winter here the weather is absolutely glorious for walking. Cheers, Phyllis Brisbane Australia
ReplyDeleteHello Phyllis. Thanks for checking in. You are way ahead of me. I think I am going to be last this year.
DeleteHello Ilona and fellow walkers,

DeleteJuly was a great walking month for me. 132 miles which brings my year to date to 588. It's been very hot here (as it has been in many parts of the US) but we get out early. I hope everyone has a great August.
ReplyDeleteHello Kay. Guess what, you are doing better than me. I must try harder.
DeleteJuly total 164.08 miles YTD total1,35.78 miles. Lynn Ewing, Pecos, NM USA
ReplyDeleteHi Lynn. Thanks for checking in. I like these progress reports.
DeleteWe spent two weeks on a North Sea island where we did a lot of biking, but not so much walking. Si I am far behind with only 479 miles.
ReplyDeleteHilde in Germany
Hello Hilde. An island holiday sounds fun. Don't worry about lack of walking opportunities. As long as you have your bike you are still getting exercise.
DeleteA little late checking in but my total for this month is 115 miles. I’m close to completing 1000 miles but obviously I’m
ReplyDeletegoing to continue as the walking has improved my fitness and definitely helped after my Mum’s death earlier this year.
Hello TBG. Your walking will help you to overcome the ups and downs of life. There's no going back to the old way of worrying about what you can't change. Go forward and enjoy.
